PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 726 km Barauni-Guwahati gas pipeline in Assam today, a key project in across West Bengal, Bihar and Assam that is an extension to the prime minister's Urja Ganga project. The pipeline will connect the North East Gas Grid, which will cater to eight states in phases.
