In Kanpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked opposition parties for not allowing Parliament to function during the winter session. Launching a scathing attack on the Congress and other opposition parties, PM Modi accused them of stalling the proceedings to support the corrupt. "Our agenda is to stop corruption. The opposition's agenda is to stall Parliament. My government's intention is to stop the corrupt and the opposition wants to protect them," PM Modi said.
