Residents of several villages in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir are facing imminent danger as the footbridge over the Tawi River is in a dilapidated condition. The bridge, constructed in the 1960s, had languished without maintenance for five years, leaving its wooden flooring in a state of disrepair.
