Another set of members of this illegal syndicate then transport the coal to a collection point on cycles and motorcycles in small batches. Then the racket operators load it onto trucks and send it to Bihar, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. Cells are generated for the transport of coal, and multiple vehicles operate through single illegal mining. Conservative estimates say that at least 50,000 people are involved in the illegal mining business in Taba. It is reported that the number of people involved has only gone up in the recent years.
