Remember In 2004, you had created history when you stopped that 11 consecutive years run of Congress as an candidate and won Dibrugarh. And this time you are contesting Dibrugarh How hopeful you are. There is a lot of support around you. We have seen how hopeful you are about you know your victory about BJP's performance in Assam in North, east and overall across the country. Yeah, overall, of course, BJP is coming. And because of the honourable Prime Minister Modi a leadership visionary leadership, dynamic leadership. He has created history in the last 75 years of our independence because the last 7, 10 years, whatever transformation has taken place in the country everywhere, every places, every towns, every hills, every plains. So all sections of society got highly benefited out of his good governance and like a service to them. And and that is the reason why he's so popular. He's so like, kind of close to the heart of the people of the country and in Assam. Also we are aiming like 12 plus the victory that's the target. And in the north east it is like 23 plus. That's the target. So overall, like as we have set the target, that N Ds is crossing the 400 plus marks and BP alone 370 that's all. Student leader to politician, somebody who has served as an M to the Chief Minister in the Union cabinet Rasa. So you have served the people in different capacity. What are your vision for the people this time? And what is your message to your voters this time when you are campaigning? My basis is very clear because honourable Prime Minister has set a target. In the next five years, India is going to become one of the top three economy in the world. That is the target in this process. Every part will be grown up. Every part will get a better benefit of this particular speed of development. So that is why I have been asking my people also, please get motivated yourself to be a part of this particular developmental journey under the dynamic leadership of honourable Prime Minister in the next five years. So this what everyone is and everyone is like very much excited to be a part of this journey because for the first time in the history of Indian like independence, I believe before that this kind of leadership we got But Modi is something exceptional and he's so devoted, so honest, so committed, so hard working, so intelligent, full of wisdom and innovation. So I believe this is what Modi is planning for the next generation to be a very proud Indian across the world. But talking about the opposition, the opposition the main opposition party Congress has released this manifesto is talking about, You know, that is a poll plan for them Here they are talking of withdrawal of Triple Tak. How do you see these issues that the opposition is racking up? Given the fact that this is the Dibrugarh district where in 2019, when we were covering, we did see a lot of resentment among people on the CA. You were the Chief Minister at that point of time. Do you see that it is still a factor? No. Because this time you might have seen it after, like, you know, bringing out these rules. No, like reaction. Because people have understood the reality the way they have represented and misinterpreted the whole idea of the car. It was very much dangerous. It was very much like, kind of harmful. So people have now realised that it is not going to impact the indigenous people of Assam. No way. So that is why if there are any resentment in this particular legislation, then they can go and approach to the Court of Law that is what being done by all our students. And they have to file a petition in the court of law. And if both are going to decide whatever court decide, definitely everyone is going to support it. Many people tell us in Dibrugarh when we speak to people that you are one person, perhaps who is left in Indian politics who is called a gentleman politician who would not attack, go into personal attacks will be always very kind to people. How do you see the change in politics? Given the fact that you know, we have been everywhere you've been in, how do you see the change in politics look like a future? And we are to teach them what is like, you know, kind of, you know, human gesture, what kind of human gesture we should always portray within our behaviour. And like, you know, the culture. The heritage should always be put in your mind that before you put your behaviour into the action. So I believe that is what, like you know, the values we have learned from our forefathers, from our like mom and Dad, for our parents and from our seniors. So this particular values should be always restored well reflected through your behaviour. That is why that is, how you can extend your life contribution to the growth of the value in Indian democracy. So we have to teach them because they are following the leaders. And if leaders behave properly, then definitely they will also behave properly tomorrow. That's what I firmly believe. And I am always there, committed to add more value to the like Indian like democracy. That's right. In fact, we did see you going to Nam and where one of your opponent was there and you wished him best of luck. And you are repeated in a triangular fight you have against you. One leader who has come from as from where you were There you have a leader who was with Congress from the tea tribe community, the tea tribes here in Dibrugarh. They are important voters, 30% of them. Do you think that governments in the past have done enough for the tea tribe and the Paras region? Because Dibrugarh also has a lot of oil reserves here because for the first time, if any government have taken any good initiative for the welfare of the tea tribe. It is B JP L like a kind of ND government from Delhi. And this both the government have worked together and for the betterment of the labours and who have been deprived of getting their due share during the Congress regime. 60 years of Congress regime. They always used to utilise these particular people as a food bank. After the election, they have always forgotten their issues. But BJP is committed to address their issues and also trying to sort out their problem. That is why, like you have seen how Paka routes are being built in the alliance, like level lines in the gardens, and also how electricity is being connected and how pure drinking water is supplied, how gas cylinders have been supplied and how RA is granted and issued in the names of those enables Iceman like Bharat Kart.
