French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to India was short but power-packed both in symbolism and substance. President Murmu revived a 250-year-old tradition for the French President as they arrived on a majestic horse-drawn buggy for the Republic Day Parade. The day ended away from the convention too, with President Murmu hosting a state banquet in honour of President Macron at home.
