As Delhi battles a rapid spike in cases, the government has been taking measures to increase the number of oxygen beds. A Delhi state-run school near ITO has become the first school in the national capital to be converted into a Covid Care Centre. The facility will have 125 beds that will be equipped with oxygen concentrators and cylinders. The school has been attached with LNJP Hospital and patients with mild to moderate symptoms will be sent here. The Delhi government is adding a total of 1,500 additional oxygen beds through this school and Covid Care Centres in Yamuna Sports complex and CWG complex.
