Political churning in Andhra Pradesh continues ahead of the general elections and state elections. TDP MLA Nalla-gatla Swamidas and his wife Sudharani from the Tiruvuru seat in the NTR district have joined the YSR Congress in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy. Swamidas won as TDP MLA from the Tiruvuru constituency twice - in 1994 and in 1999.
