Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Doha, Qatar. He's there on a two day official visit. Arriving there yesterday, he met his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurahman, aiming to enhance the diplomatic ties and strengthen friendship between India and Qatar. Let's go across to Kadamba for more and kamni. This visit follows the release of eight former naval officers personnel that Qatar had released after 18 months and that they were on death row. Well, yes, it's a very significant visit because immediately after the release of these eight Navy veterans, PS visit to Qatar was announced along with U A, which was already in the pipeline. Now bilateral talks are taking place and there is much to talk about even bilaterally because there are trade, investment, energy, finance, technology, factors which both the countries work together on. From that, we have also seen how Qatar plays a very important role in the Middle East, which is led by the war between Israel and Hamas. So there are talks there would be we would expect that there would be some conversation regarding that as well. Pierre Modi recorded a red carpet welcome when he went there. He also had dinner last night with the prime minister of Qatar and we have learned that there was a wide ranging between the two just barely around a week back. There has been a multi million dollar deal energy deal for 20 years and for LNG imports to India, which helps India in reaching its carbon emission goals as well as helps Qatar in trying to compete with the United States for this sector of the energy market. So this is a very important bilateral relation and it makes the situation at the moment in the Middle East makes it even more important. We know that the energy needs of India are growing by the day. It is one of the major markets. We also know how the Red Sea situation is. We also know that there are other factors which are affecting and the most important that there are lots of Indians who are living there working there in Qatar and that is also a very important living page.
