Kerala, always known for higher voting percentages, is hoping to show the way at a time when, in the first phase of voting, we didn't see too much of enthusiasm from the voters of this country in several parts of the country. But in Kerala, you come down from not just your own city in the neighbourhood, but also from other cities. I believe as many as 3000 people have reported to have come from the UAE to come and vote in this election. Lakshmi has come down from, uh, Bangalore, and you are saying there is a special train with lots of Malay in it. I could see a lot of enthusiasts mais coming just for voting just for a day. Uh, they have taken, um, one day prior, like even the weekends together, and they'll be going back by Monday. So just for the vote, there are many people coming down to the city and cast their vote and they'll be going back. So no one wants to waste the vote in their state. That's fantastic. You've been living outside the state for what, some 14 years you just said, and yet your vote is in Kerala Why, Yeah, Because I want to be part of the politics in the state and the change of the state So that true kalite spirit is still with me. OK, ar, you have come from Delhi specifically only for voting today. Yeah, absolutely. So this is something that I've never missed. Also, I try not to miss a vote and it's a constitutional right, and it's important that people exercise it. And you did not think of transferring your vote wherever you live now in Delhi? No, no, I have made sure that it has to be in Kerala. It's OK. Just it's a minor hassle. Has to travel five twice in five years. And that's not an issue. Is that what what distinguishes a kalite? I'm saying this this involvement so deeply with what happens back in the state, the kind of issues that are spoken about, Do you follow them very closely as well? Yeah, I think it also boils down to the, uh, not just the literacy rate or something. I think people are generally politically aware, and, uh, the media scrutiny in this state is unparalleled. I don't think any other state comes close, so I think almost everyone from you know, right from small tea shops and everyone everyone listens to like the radio and people listen to, like news channels and everything, and that is why it is there.
