Sitting BJP MP Pradeep Kumar is up against Iqra Hasan of the Samajwadi Party for the Kairana Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming general elections. In the 2019 polls, Pradeep Kumar had won the Kairana seat for the BJP by close to one lakh votes. Iqra Hasan, who belongs to a family of politicians, is not only confident of spoiling Pradeep's Kumar ambition of a re-election from Kairana, but is also hopeful of a strong performance by the INDIA alliance across the country.
