The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday released its eighth list of candidates in Punjab, Odisha and West Bengal for the Lok Sabha Elections. In Punjab, the BJP has given a ticket to former Congress MP and former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh's wife Preneet Kaur from Patiala, the same seat she had won in Congress in the 2019 general elections. Preneet Kaur recently joined BJP. She was suspended by the Congress in February last year for anti-party activities. Along with this, Bollywood actor Sunny Deol ticket has been cancelled from the Gurdaspur seat and has been given to Dinesh Singh "Babbu".
