The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad is trying to crack a cross-border drug trade through a high-profile arrest made on Saturday. Saji Mohan, an Indian Police Service officer and former zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau, was caught with 12 kilograms of heroin while 25 kg was seized from an associate. Drugs were allegedly shipped in milk packets with Pakistani markings.
