Some parents have asked the Delhi government to close schools as the air quality in the national capital continues to worsen. Delhi’s air quality remains “very poor” and it is the second most polluted city in the world. The political blame game, however, continues, with the AAP government alleging no cooperation from the centre to fight air pollution. The centre said farm fires in Punjab, ruled by the AAP, are also responsible for air pollution in Delhi.
