The Congress has declined the invite to the Ram Temple consecration ceremony since they "don't have any agenda", said Lallu Singh, the BJP's MP from Ayodhya. "Today when the temple is being made and the temple trust is inviting everybody, the Congress is doing this because they don't have any agenda. They are doing this to get only one side of the votes. The party has encouraged communalism. Now the whole world is united and even the minorities are with us. Everybody is supporting this. These people don't have any agenda. I say that everybody should come. Maybe they will be blessed if they come," he added.
