A scheduled auction of Mahatma Gandhi's personal items, including a pair of the Mahatma's iconic round-rimmed spectacles, his bowl and plate and a pocket watch, is just hours away in New York City. And as India runs out of time and options to try and repossess these items, the Prime Minister has stepped in and told the government to go ahead and bid at the auction if that's the last resort.
