The Election Commission has allotted the 'Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)' name and its clock symbol to Ajit Pawar’s faction, ending the tussle with his uncle Sharad Pawar. Mr Pawar was given an afternoon deadline to provide a new name for his party. He is also planning to approach the Supreme Court regarding the matter.
