tragic news from Chennai. Three people have died in a roof collapse that happened at a Chennai bar. In fact, massive rescue operations took place and three bodies were found there. In fact, the roof collapse took place amid renovation work. My colleague Sam Daniel sent us the support we come to you from outside the Sema Bar on Ches Road in Chennai where three people were killed this evening after a roof collapse at this particular bar. This happened on the first floor and as we speak, the rescue work is underway by fire and rescue teams from Chennai. There are conflicting versions on what could have caused this roof collapse. Some say renovation work was already underway and that had triggered the roof collapse. Some say the underground metro rail work is underway just opposite the bar. And the possible impact because of any major operation like drilling could have actually triggered the building or the roof collapse, they say. As we speak, even teams from the ND have arrived here. The rescue work is still underway. At the moment, there's no clarity in terms of how many people could be still trapped underneath. But so far, three bodies have been recovered and officials believe that they are workers or people who are working staff members of this. What can you say in terms of the loss of life and the possible causes for the roof collapse of this bath? As I already already briefed her, there are three casualties. All three are casual workers of this bath and we have taken them. We have taken them out and all the debris have been cleared. The radius the diameter of the actual operation.
