"What is supposed to be 50, is 350 plus (pollution readings). By midnight, it will be over 500. It is a public health emergency. It is more severe than Covid. We are localising it as a Delhi problem, but it extends from Punjab to West Bengal," Jai Dhar Gupta, environmental activist, said when asked the extent of air pollution in the national capital.
