Coming together: Kerala women celebrate Attukal Ponkala

Hundreds of women devotees virtually took over Thiruvananthapuram to participate in the Attukal Ponkala festival. It's a festival of women and organisers say it has not parallel in the world. Several tonnes of Ponkala (rice) and prasadam (jaggery) are cooked as offering to Attukal Amma, the presiding deity of the Attukal temple, all for the well-being of humanity.
