He is tipped to be the next Defence Minister, and in an exclusive interview to NDTV, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar confirms that he got a call from BJP President Amit Shah indicating that he will have to move to New Delhi. Mr Parrikar said that the portfolio allocation is the prerogative of the Prime Minister, but he is not worried as he has a great deal of administrative experience. On a lighter note, he said he will miss Goan fish and weather.
