Orissa battles flood, situation grim

The flood situation in Baleswar district in Orissa continues to be grim although all major flooding rivers are now receding and there has been no rain in that region in the last 24 hours. On Thursday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik aerially surveyed the areas and also supervised the air dropping of food packets.
