"BJP Can Solve All Problems Of Punjab," Says Ex-Akali Dal Leader Who Joined Party
BJP has been steadily making inroads in Punjab and making prominent people from social settings join the party, hoping that it will increase its presence at the grassroots. After jumping ship from Akali Dal to the BJP, Derabassi Businessman Gurdarshan Singh is doing his political work by organising a mass public campaign in Derabassi. Talking to NDTV Mr Singh said, "If the BJP come to power, all problems will be solved, even the farmers' issue."
