Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping was featured as the lead story in most of the leading English dailies today. The Times of India, The Indian Express, Hindustan Times and The Asian Age published PM Modi-Xi meet in the leads. The Telegraph took Modi-Xi meet at Mallalapuram in the page one anchor and highlighted the Nobel Peace Prize as its leading story. Among the other top stories were Virat Kohli's new record of hitting most 150-plus scores as captain of a team. Mr Kohli hit his 9th 150-plus score against South Africa on Friday.

The prime minister had a one-on-one dinner with President Xi in the Shore Temple of Mamallapuram near Chennai, which lasted for over two-and-a-half hours. Trade and terrorism were reported as the top issues discussed between the two leaders.

The Telegraph: The Telegraph published the story of Nobel Peace Prize to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. The leader was honoured "for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation, and in particular for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighbouring Eritrea," the Nobel Committee said.
