The CBI coordinated with MEA and MHA to deport fugitive Sombir Motta from the USA. Sombir Motta is wanted by Haryana Police for murder and firearm-related offences. CBI obtained an INTERPOL Red Notice for Motta in February 2025 to aid his capture.
