Air India on August 15 launched a non-stop flight from Ahmadabad to Heathrow, London. Passengers were beaming in joy as they now can fly home in just nine hours without a break. The NRIs thanked the Prime Minister for gifting them the non-stop flight - which was a long-standing demand - on India's 70th Independence Day.
