In World War II, we had the largest volunteer army in the history of human conflict, there were 2.5 million men in arms and each of them was a volunteer. So in World War I, we had more than 1.7 million Indians who served, 1.4 million Indians who fought overseas. Today we need to spread the glory of Indian soldiers across the globe, who not only fought for our independence, but also proved their strength during World War I & II.
