There were massive protests outside Kashmiri separatist Syed Ali Shah Geelani's residence in Srinagar this morning after the police refused to allow his party, the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat,to hold a seminar. Today is the raising day of Mr Geelani's party and he was to address the seminar at his residence-cum-office in Hyderpora, where he has been under house arrest for the last four months.
