Reacting to Dr Manmohan Singh's sharp critique that it would be "disastrous" for the country to have Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, the Gujarat Chief Minister's party, the BJP, has hit back and alleged that "Dr Singh's 10 years in office have been disastrous for India and its people."
