He's the man who brought Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Hugh Jackman together in New York and he tells NDTV how PM Modi helped him bring the Global Citizen Festival to India where Coldplay would be performing this weekend. Philanthropist and Global Citizen founder Hugh Evans said, "(Coldplay's) Chris and Prime Minister Modi had a great conversation and the Prime Minister said - bring Global Citizen to India...This will be the first year of the Global Citizen festival in Mumbai but every year moving forward the intention is to take it to different cities across India with the focus on different Sustainable Development Goals," he said. He also spoke on being 'global citizen' in the age of Donald Trump and how as a student he was inspired by Mother Teresa and worked with Missionaries of Charity in India.
