For ten days, a thousand jawans scored the forest of Kalakot in their hunt for Lashkar-e-Toiba militants rumoured to be hiding there. Operation Khoj, one of the longest operation of this kind, was successful. Sixteen militants were traced and killed, but the war is by no means over.
