The face-off between the country's topmost auditor, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), and the Congress continues. NDTV has exclusive access to the minutes of the deposition of the CAG before the Joint Parliamentary Committee that's also looking at the 2G scam. This has revealed a heated debate between the CAG and Congress MP Manish Tewari over the use of the phrase "presumptive loss" in the 2G scam calculations as claimed by the top auditor, who pegged the loss at Rs. 1.76 lakh crore.
