In a heated debate on the issue, Gujarat government spokesperson Jai Narayan Vyas said that it's hypothetical to debate on an issue not in the public domain, and the CBI status report coming out is a leak in itself. Reacting to the status report, Congress General Seceretary Digvijaya Singh said that an IB official colluding with the Gujarat police is a serious issue and the CBI will not act politically.
