Yogi Adityanath, the new Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is in Delhi today for meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah. On the table are big decisions on ministries. The BJP leadership may have its first UP crisis in hand with a tussle between the Chief Minister and his deputy, Keshav Prasad Maurya, over the important home portfolio. On Monday, Yogi Adityanath and the two deputy Chief Ministers, Mr Maurya and Dinesh Singh, met with top state officials and outlined the agenda of the new government.
