West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday visited the mother of the mountaineer from Howrah missing in Kanchenjunga since Tuesday. The chief minister told climber Chhanda Gayen's mother that she had sent a team to Nepal to oversee rescue operations and would go herself if she could.
