A Tearful Maharashtra Pays its Last Respects To Gopinath Munde

The body of Gopinath Munde, who died in a road accident in Delhi on Tuesday, was brought to his native village Parli in Maharashtra's Beed district this afternoon for cremation with full state honours.

Villagers gathered in huge numbers to get a glimpse of their leader as his body was being taken from the airport to the crematorium.

Mr Munde's family members and relatives too paid their last respects to him.
