It's a sad day in tinsel town as legendary Bollywood film star Dilip Kumar has died at 98. In a world of quick fixes and transformations that happen in a snap, Dilip was a breath of fresh air. His 1944 Hindi film debut with Jwar Bhata went on to lead him to new heights and 1949's Andaz cemented his position as a superstar. That's something that never changed. His fairytale marriage to Bollywood actress Saira Banu spanned 55 years and proved once again that true love and legends never fade from grace. In memory of Dilip Kumar and his iconic career as a Bollywood film star, we take a look at some of his top fashion moments through time.
Even though he was popularly known as the tragedy king of Bollywood, Dilip didn't fail to light up a room in a white suit and red tie with a smile that could open doors.
Dilip Kumar may have looked dapper in a suit but when Saira Banu was by his side, he looked even better.

In 1958's Madhumati, he made the audience swoon in a tailored pair of trousers and a shirt accessorized with a sling bag and jacket thrown over his shoulders.
A kurta and pajama set looked so effortlessly easy when he wore it.
Even a Nehru jacket and a shirt had the same charm only he could lend to it.
Rest in peace Dilip Kumar.
You will be sorely missed.
