Pakistan's debt has reached nearly PKR 76,000 billion ($270 billion) in nine months. The new budget features a 20% increase in defense spending while overall expenditure is cut by 7%. Economic growth is projected at 4.2% for the next fiscal year, with a deficit of 3.9% of GDP.
