Local NGO Darshana Animal Welfare rescued injured animals after the Ahmedabad plane crash. The founder reported 6-7 dogs and over 50 birds perished in the fire caused by the crash. Three to four dogs and six to seven birds were rescued and are currently receiving medical care.
