Bidding war for Parkway is on: Fortis offers S$3.8 a share

Delhi based chain of hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, has launched a bid of about 3.2 billion Singapore dollars, or $2.3 billion, to buy all the shares of Singapore's Parkway Holdings. The bid by Fortis topped an earlier rival bid by Malaysian state fund, Khazanah Nasional.
