A 15-year-old girl was fatally mauled by dogs in Alexander, Arkansas, on June 13. Makayla Fortner was trying to care for 30 to 40 neglected dogs when the attack occurred. The girl and her mother had been rescuing the malnourished animals from their neglectful owners.
