A volcano in eastern Indonesia erupted, sending ash 10,000 meters into the atmosphere. Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki's alert level was raised to the highest tier following the eruption. Authorities advised residents and tourists to avoid activities within seven kilometers of the volcano.
