Rikshit Chauhan, an Indian merchant navy officer, was aboard a Russian oil tanker seized by US forces. The tanker, Marinera, was intercepted after a prolonged chase from the Caribbean to the North Atlantic. Chauhan's family appealed to PM Modi for his safe return before his wedding on February 19.
