A woman in Georgia, declared brain dead, delivered her baby via emergency cesarean section. Adriana Smith's baby, named Chance, was born prematurely at about six months gestation. Chance weighs approximately 1 pound and 13 ounces and is currently in the neonatal intensive care unit.
