An IAS officer and Sub-Collector, Dhiman Chakma, was arrested for bribery in Kalahandi. Chakma allegedly demanded Rs 20 lakh, receiving Rs 10 lakh as an installment from a businessman. He threatened to take action against the businessman’s stone crusher unit if the bribe was not paid.
