Ministry of Home Affairs announced 1,090 medals for officers, personnel across all services. Police category received 226 Gallantry Medals, 89 Presidents Medals, and 635 Meritorious Service Medals Jammu and Kashmir personnel received the highest number of Gallantry Medals, followed by CRPF and BSF members
