The director, who claims to make films from audience's point of view, has teamed up with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, known for their comic timing. And to spice up the cast, he also roped in John Abraham, Asin Thottumkal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee and Shreyas Talpade.
If this doesn't excite you, there is a team of old timers - Randhir and Rishi Kapoor, as well as 1980s' dancing star Mithun Chakraborty. Boman Irani, known for tickling the audience's funny bone, is also an integral part of the cast.
The four couples end up living in the same mansion with the four fathers-in-law (played by Kapoor, Kapoor, Chakraborty and Irani), and a series of mistaken identities promises much hilarity.
Made at a budget of Rs 45 crores, the film has been shot in London, Lincolnshire and Krabi. It is getting a worldwide release.
Musical duo Sajid-Wajid have composed peppy songs.
The mandatory item number, Anarkali Disco Chali, features Malaika Arora Khan and has been sung by Mamta Sharma.
Sajid Khan has already started work on instalment three, even before Housefull 2 releases.
