Nagarjuna and family launch the music of Shirdi Sai

The music release of superstar Nagarjuna's upcoming movie Shirdi Sai was held in Hyderabad on Monday (July 30, 2012).

The actor's father and veteran actor, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, launched the first audio CD.
Nagarjuna's wife, Amala Akkineni, made a rare appearance.
The actor's sons, Naga Chaitanya (centre) and Akhil, were seated with their grandfather.
During the launch Nagarjuna said, "I came to know better about Shirdi Sai Baba after enacting in this film. I experienced many miracles in life during the filming of this movie and I started to enjoy simple things in my life."
Actress Kamalinee Mukherjee, who was last seen in the movie, Virodhi also stars in the film.
A Sai Baba puja was also organised after the launch.
Singers SP Balasubramanian and Suneetha sang some of the songs from the film.

Superstar Nagarjuna will play the role of Shirdi Sai Baba in his upcoming film, Shirdi Sai. It is a biopic of the saint.
Reports suggest that the actor did everything to get into the skin of his character. During the shooting of the film, he gave up non-vegetarian food and abstained from any promotional event.
Nagarjuna has earlier portrayed the role of saint-poets Annamayya and Bhakta Ramadasu.
In an interview, the actor had said, "Earlier I portrayed the roles of a devotee in Annamayya and Ramadasu. But now, it is a fortune to portray the role of an embodiment of God, Shirdi Sai. This is going to be a big turn in my career. Mahesh Reddy is an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai. He is producing it with devotion".
The movie has been directed by K Raghavendra Rao.
The movie is produced by Mahesh Reddy and is launched under the banner of Saikrupa Entertainments Pvt Ltd.
The music has been composed by M M Keeravani.
According to sources, the makers are planning to hold the music launch of the film, scheduled in August in a spiritual centre.
Paruchuri Brothers have penned the dialogues for this film while S Gopal Reddy handled the camera.
The movie is expected to hit theatres in September this year.
