Amitabh Bachchan, promoting the newest season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, got behind the camera on set. Now he knows what it feels like to be a paparazzo!
Big B spoke at length to the press about his granddaughter Aaradhya and said, "The only thing that I want her to do right now is that she should start giving us some importance and realise that I am her grandfather. The only thing that she has been able to understand, according to me, is that this bearded person is going to play an important role in her life. She keeps playing with my beard."
Mr Bachchan also said it was “heart-wrenching” to hear the stories of some of contestants on the show.

Amitabh Bachchan is back opposite the hot seat. He will host the sixth edition of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

This time the central theme of the show is 'power of knowledge' and Mr Bachchan said that he believes that knowledge is the key to success.
Mr Bachchan inaugurated the campaign 'Hot Seat Aapke Shehar' in which KBC's hot seat will travel across the country to towns like Raipur, Patna and Nagpur as part of the promotional strategy for the show.
Mr Bachchan said, "The kind of knowledge that I get from this show, I don't get it from anywhere else. The knowledge that I get from here is quite useful."
Designer Rohit Bal will reportedly style Big B for the show. "The designing of the look on KBC by Rohit 'Gudda' Bal... just lifts your spirits when you wear his outfits... that jacket... hmmm," Big B had posted on Twitter.
When asked who in the Bachchan family was the most knowledgeable, Mr Bachchan promptly said it was his daughter Shweta.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 6 will be aired on September 7, 2012.
