State Bank of India (SBI) is recruiting officers for its special cadre on regular and contractual basis. The country's largest lender informed about the development on microblogging website Twitter. SBI has openings in the human resource department, for internal communications, banking supervisory specialists and defence banking advisor.  An application fee of Rs 600 is applicable for regular posts whereas it is waived off for contractual posts. The selection will be based on shortlisting and personal interview, said SBI in a notification. 

SBI's recruitment of specialist cadre officers in detail:

Regular basis:

HR specialist (recruitment): A person in the age group of 32-35 years having an MBA/PGDM with specialisation in HR can apply for this post. Those applying in MMGS-III (middle management grade scale) need to have a minimum experience of seven years and for SMGS-IV (senior management grade scale) the requirement is 10 years. 

HR specialist (manpower planning): A person in the age group of 32-35 years having an MBA/PGDM with specialisation in HR can apply for this post. Those applying in MMGS-III need to have a minimum experience of seven years and for SMGS-IV applicants, the requirement is 10 years. 

Internal communication specilaist: A person in the age group of 27-35 years having an MBA/Post graduate degree in marketing/ mass media/ finance/ commerce can apply. Those applying in MMGS-II need to have a minimum experience of five years and for MMGS-III  the requirement is nine years. 

Contractual:

Banking supervisory specialists: A person in the age group of 55-65 years with 20-25 years of experience particularly in the banking regulations particularly in the credit and market risk related areas can apply for this post.

Defence banking advisor (army): A person retired from the rank of lieutenant general or above can apply for this position at SBI. However, the maximum permissible age is 62 years. 
   
Defence banking advisor (paramilitray forces): A person retired from the rank of ADGP (Additional director general of police) or above (retired IPS officers) or five years of work experience in central reserve police force /para military force can apply for this position at SBI. However, the maximum permissible age is 62 years.

Circle defence banking advisor: A person retired from the rank of a brigadier or major general can apply for this position at SBI. However, the maximum permissible age is 60 years.
